DAvid Agudelo Vargas
Architect and designer with over 15 years of experience in shaping commercial, corporate, and residential projects. Developing designs from a clear conceptual vision, optimizing architectural processes, and implementing technologies to maximize the visual and functional impact of projects.
After consolidating my technical experience on-site, I now focus on exploring, integrating, and developing concepts from both theoretical and computational design perspectives. My goal is to translate architectural principles into generative algorithms that explore form, materiality, and environmental behavior, resulting in significant improvements in spatial clarity and the aesthetics of projects.
I am driven by the desire to understand how to make spaces work better, adapt naturally to their users, and tell stories through their form and organization, with fluidity, continuity, and constant dialogue between space and its users.

experience
Directed design strategy at Leco Arquitectos, translating global brand guidelines from companies like Skechers, Asics, and Reebok into coherent spatial experiences. Integrated 360° visualizations to streamline decision-making, executing over 40 projects while meeting and exceeding brand standards with a proactive approach. Incorporated parametric principles and organic aesthetics in design.
- Utilized immersive visualizations to tell stories before spaces are inhabited.
- Led digital evolution through the development and implementation of collaborative cloud-based workflows and 360° visualizations.
- Directed a multidisciplinary team of architects and visualizers.
- Collaborated with suppliers to develop new construction techniques using digital resources and coordinated materials with current trends.
- Supervised construction to ensure compliance with brand standards.
Designed over 20 commercial and corporate projects, using design as a narrative tool to translate brand identities into inhabitable atmospheres. Developed projects from spatial language exploration, through fluid geometries, cultural references, and precise materialities.
Designed facades, furniture, and signage in dialogue with the context.
- Development of architectural concepts from ideation to the constructed detail.
- Design of flagship stores and showrooms as visual expression stages.
- Creative coordination between architecture, brands, and territory.
- Implemented CAD template 30×40, reducing drawing times by 30%.
- Introduced 360° cameras for site surveys, saving 40 hours of fieldwork per month.
- Implemented 360° renders + QR codes in plans for on-site tracking
